The people & ideas behind ChannelGrabber
ChannelGrabber has been creating ecommerce sites and bespoke backend logistic systems for organisations since March 2010. ChannelGrabber was formed by Daniel and Matthew with the intention of using progressive web technologies and techniques to aide online retailers. Daniel is the Managing Director and deals with all the day to day running of the company as well as being a driving force behind development. Matthew is the Operations Director being mostly occupied with leading software development and managing the technology behind ChannelGrabber.
ChannelGrabber was conceived by Matthew and Daniel back in early 2010. After many months of planning, ChannelGrabber started to be put together. ChannelGrabber launched its initial BETA off the back of the Ecommerce Expo in London, October 2010. Hundreds of people tested the software initially and a full product launch occurred in January 2011.
In April 2012, ChannelGrabber launched its third version and had over 400 users signed up to use the system.
About the Directors
Daniel, the Managing Director, started studying a degree in Business Studies while working for a company that sold on Amazon and eBay. It was during his degree studies that Daniel decided he wanted to create a software solution that made selling online easier.
Daniel is in to movies, travelling the world, reading and being a bit of a socialite.
Matthew created websites as a hobby for friends and family until the age of 15 when he started freelancing for SEO and web development companies. Matthew got accepted in to The University of Manchester to study Computer Science. It was while he was studying Computer Science that ChannelGrabber was conceived.
Matthew enjoys building computers as well as many other highly technical hobbies. He also has many social obligations that keep Matthew busy.
